I will preface this by saying I am fairly livid right now. I was not able to watch my pre-season NFL game in full because we were doing some running around. So I had it downloading using my stream (I have an XL4). I let it go for quite a while during dinner. When I got home I went back into the TiVo app to resume downloading and noticed it changed the max size from 1.5gb to just a couple MBs than I already downloaded (about 450). Looking at my shows I noticed the game was gone and also not in the recently deleted items folder. I looked at my history and it said it wasn't recorded because it was a duplicate. Uh, no it wasn't for two reasons: 1) the game was played tonight and 2) it WAS being recorded because I have some I managed to download to my phone.
So wtf happened here? I'm assuming it has something to do with this useless guide data change, but I seriously want some answers. I've had TiVo for about 13 years and I've never had my box delete something after the fact and call it duplicate. I will dump this thing like a hot sack of crap if I can no longer rely on it as reliability was one of the main things that made it great.
