The problems with the new guide data and how it works (doesn't work) with some of the (what used to be) better features of owning a TIVO have been mentioned countless times in many threads over the past couple of weeks. Add me to that list.
I am starting to see progress with things that previously did not work since first getting the new guide, which is a good sign. Over the past weekend I was getting concerned that no new data was showing up on my guide and it was within 9 -10 days, but subsequent manual connections to the server the past couple of days have taken it out to about 13 1/2 days now.
My main concern here is with One Pass and I have tried all the suggestions I have found on this forum. I have deleted all previous one passes that I had set up and have used the guide to create new ones as they start appearing with the new fall tv season.
So far, I have been able to set up several one passes which have correctly created an item in the to do list. There is one exception so far though. I set up a one pass for Blindspot and while it did create a to do item for the S2 Ep 1, it did not and still has not created one for week 2.
My question is what could be missing in the guide data for S2 Ep 2 to cause it not to show up in the to do list and will we need to be checking for this all the time from now on and setting up a manual recording for those times when it won't "discover" it on it's own? Kind of defeats the purpose of spending the money for the TIVO.
