Tivo Mini Timer?

After leaving the room for a couple of hours, we come back and the new Tivo Mini (series 2) has cut back to the Tivo Central screen and no shows are being shown (obviously). Is there a setting or adjustment to not go into 'sleep mode' or 'energy saving' mode? Why would Tivo decide that's a desirable feature?
