Doctor Who "World Enough and Time" S10E11 (spoilers)

Please splain: What part of the story established any reason at all for the blue janitor guy to be afraid of the bagheads? If they only come for humans and they leave him alone, then why is it necessary to shoot humans? They'll get carried off anyway.

Sort of reminds me of Citizen Caine. No one heard Caine whisper "Rosebud" because he died alone, so the entire movie couldn't have happened .

The other tiny little plot problem: You can't put a rocket in reverse. The opening cgi clearly...
