I think the continual care warranty terms are misleading.
I was on an annual subscription. After 18 months my Roamio went belly up. I was told by the rep (on the phone) that the continual care is only for the first year (continual ?????) and I have no $49 swap option.
Merriam -Webster dictionary shows:
Definition of continual
1: continuing indefinitely in time without interruption...
