Keeping Recordings When Exchanging

After only a few months, my TiVo is already not working, and I had to agree to an exchange.

Funny they make it sound like not getting "All in" is good due to you getting exchanges, yet then they try to make you pay an exchange fee. I got them to waive that, at least... But now my problem is I have this TiVo almost 90% full and want to keep my recordings.

She claims since I did the advanced exchange and can keep this TiVo up to 90 days while they send out the other, that both will show up...
