MoCA and Ethernet Connectivity

I am using a TiVo BOLT and three Minis. After trying several configurations of MoCA and Ethernet connections, it seems that any configuration in which the BOLT and a Mini are not on the same mode of connection results in the Mini periodically losing connectivity with the BOLT. In other words, if the BOLT and a Mini are both MoCA or both Ethernet it works reliably. If one is MoCA and the other Ethernet, it fails periodically (e.g. after 10-30 minutes when playing live TV on the Mini).
