Question about sense8 season 2 (no specific spoilers

The disenheartening news that Sense8 has been canceled pretty much the day after I started season two is very depressing to me LOL I think the show is awesome... before I invest in season two I preferred to know if the season ends on a major cliffhanger or not and if so, is it the kind where the wrap up the main story for the season and end on something to start anew story next season or did you watch the whole season and now feel completely frustrated by the cancelation...
