Romio Pro's Ethernet Port Can't be Used for Network Connection?

I have a Tivo Premier XL4 and a Romio Pro that are both connected to an existing MoCa network (with an Actiontec adapter at the router). They work fine with the existing MoCA network. For several years I've used the Ethernet port on the back of the Premier XL4 as a way to connect other devices for a wired connection over the existing MoCA network (such as a Slingbox or even another 4 port Ethernet switch).
