TiVo cutting service to Series 3 after nonuse?

I have two TiVo HD (lifetimed) units as well as a Roamio basic. One of my HD units that I had loaned to a friend has been unused for over 6 months. In trying to set it up again at my residence and I keep getting "No information exists about antenna channels for ZIP code *****". The zip code is valid and my other HD unit is still operating just fine for that zip code. I wound up do a "clear and delete" after reviewing some threads here.
