Tivo vs IPTV dilemma

My family transitioned from DirecTV to Cable/Tivo and they just love the Tivo. Now Fiber has arrived to my area and the 1 Gigabit Internet and IPTV are looking pretty good.

Is anybody else facing the dilemma of leaving Tivo for IPTV? I really do not like the IPTV DVR but I like their picture quality over Charter.

I have looked for adapters, converters, etc. but none exists.
