Using Mini with xfinity app

Situation:

I have a Mini (gen 1) fed through ethernet to a Apple Airport Extreme (older version) connected to a Roamio basic. Problem is that the xfinity app regularly disappears from my list of apps on the Mini, sometimes a test connection or a reboot will bring it back, but not always.

Any thoughts on troubleshooting? Comcast has been little help, so I'm trying to figure out if this could be something on my side, or if I need to go "big" in my complaints to Comcast.
