Transfer programs to new box

How do I transfer my recorded programs on my existing Tivo box to my new Tivo and still be able to use & record new programs as usual.



Would like some specifics on hooking them both up at same time and or how do I see the recorded programs on old box to transfer to new?



Also, I use Verizon FIOS so at some point I will need to transfer the card to new box.



Can some one walk me thru how to do this?
