dinosaur 13 premiered last night on cnn at 9/8c, it caught my eye as i was surfing the guide, so i recorded and watched the second airing (most current series are on mid-season hiatus).
i enjoyed this much more than i expected, a very interesting story that followed the 1990 south dakota chance discovery of the most complete t-rex fossil ever recovered, through the years long protracted legal battle surrounding the find, and the resulting federal trial.
it has all the players of a good drama - the small town paleontologists vs ownership claims by landowners, native americans, and the government - a davids vs goliaths story.
did anyone else catch it last night? it airs again twice on 12/14, and once more 12/20.
