Information Bar Issues

I have a Tivo Premiere Elite. In the information bar that comes up when you press the information button, when you hit the down arrow, it shows you 3 random channels (for the other tuners I presume). Is there a way to change those channels (users choice)? I've tried changing to each of the channels I wanted, but it does not appear to change those.



Here is the reason. I am watching two shows. When I switch back and forth, the buffer from the channel I leave resets. My thinking is that if I can change the tuner channels to what I want, then the buffer would still be in place as I switch back and forth.
