Our Roamio recently started giving us a warning that only a few days of guide data remained. Attempts to force a network connection resulted in a "could not get account status" error message.
What's strange is that everything else worked properly - YouTube, Netflix, the various menu icons that load from the network, etc. When I attempted to force the network connection, I saw it successfully set the clock from a network service. I tried a software restart, no dice. I cycled power and did a cold restart, no dice.
Eventually I tried restarting all my network stuff - the cablemodem, router, and switch - then I power-cycled the Roamio. This finally fixed it; a forced network connection worked just fine.
Everything else in our network was working fine, so I'm not sure what got gummed up. Just passing this along in case anyone else runs into it.
