slow network

I have a romeo plus with 4 mini's. I have ethernet plugged into the romeo and all the mini's are connected moca. While watching a recorded show I get the message slow network.My romeo shows under network settings ethernet + moca. I have Fios 75/75. If I unplug the ethernet cable do I have to change any settings
