We just got rid of our horrible Comcast DVR's and replaced them with a Roamio and a Mini. Loving it so far. Setup was far easier than i expected it to be. Two questions though:
We have HBO as part of our package and i can tune to it by typing in the channel number, but it doesn't show up in the guide. None of the HBO channels do. Is there a setting or something that I'm missing?
The second I'm pretty sure i know the answer to but ill go ahead and ask. With Comcast On Demand they disable fast forwarding on most of the content but with their DVR's you still have the ability to jump ahead (5 or 10 minutes can't remember). Is there a way to do this with the Tivo box? Not really that big of a deal but the wife wanted to watch a two hour show that she's already seen eh first hour of and without the forward jump you have to rewatch the entire first hour.
