When setting up a recording and/or season pass.
I would like to see an option in the Start Recording line allowing to start the recording .5, 1 or 1.5 minutes late.
Reason:
many networks (possibly locals but, not sure if they can time shift) do not adhere to top or bottom of the hour start times.
This results in missing the last few seconds on that recording.
Extending recording time using Padding function creates other problems.
Such as clipping of another program due to tuner unavailable.
