Watch locals and programs recorded if i cancel

Hi, all, i have tivo to record some old shows on the subchannels. If i decide in the future to canel tivo. Can i still watch the recorded shows or keep the tivo? Also can i just watch the local channels as well without a paying a fee for it. Would appreciate a response. Max.
