So, this has been an interesting journey to say the least.
I had a truck roll this AM to remove the filter. After he left I called TWC cablecard group to pair my CC and TA. They were not successful in doing so. The cablecard would not take the provisioning / pairing and the TA (MRT700) yellow light would just flash but the Tivo did recognize a TA is plugged in. TWC tells me to get a new CC / TA from local office so I do that. I had my suspicions this would NOT work but I humored them so we could get to next step.
I come home with new CC and TA, connect everything back up, TA still blinking and is recognized by the Tivo but haven't called TWC for pairing yet.
I call them, they pair CC and now I get non-SDV channels. Next they pushed firmware update out to the TA. After a few short min. on the phone the TA light goes solid but Tivo no longer recognizes the TA. TWC says Tivo needs to push out an update for me to see the TA and I should wait a day or so and if it still doesn't work swap TA.
I've gone into the Tivo "call home" menu and unplugged multiple times. The Tivo did grab/install an update on first power up but has not since.
Am I really looking at another bad TA? Any truth to what TWC told me?
