I am trying to cut the cord.
I have Wowway internet, Tivo Roamio OTA, and 2 mini's.
What I'm trying to do is connect the mini's to the Roamio OTA using the existing coax in the house, so I can use the DVR, streaming and OTA in other rooms.
So far, all I've been able to do is get one room to work and can't figure out how to get the MoCA going at all.
Here is my wiring so far:
external coax -> split 2 ways: 1 for internet wireless router and 2 is to a POE filter and then split to each mini and Tivo. Since the Roamio OTA only has one coax connection I have a bi-direction splitter that joins the coax with the HD TV Antenna.
Nothing works, so now I'm wondering if what I'm trying to do is even possible. Where does the MoCA transmission originate?
Arggh.
