Mini software update from Tivo in 24-72 hours for V70??

After phone calls and an extended online chat, the agent tells me that:

I have got approval to escalate case number xxxxx. It seems that it is missing some software that needs to be added. Usually our specialists can get that added in 24-72 hours. :)

My question is, will something happen to my Mini automagically or will I need to keep running through the guided setup to discover if I have received the update?
