SDV question

Hello,

I live in the Detroit metro area an am a Brighthouse subscriber who unfortunately uses SDV. I say unfortunately because it's been an absolute nightmare from day one. Most of the worst issues were ultimately resolved with a firmware update to my Motorala TA. However, I'm still experiencing the following issue:

• Often when trying to tune an SDV channel, I get a black screen followed by a V53 error. The only way to get the channel to tune is by tuning to a different channel and then retuning to the problem channel. My theory is that since SDV channels time out after a given period, they must be forced to retune and since my TiVo isn't aware of this, I must manually do so.

Since I'm moving out of state to a different provider (TWC), I'm crossing my fingers that this may resolve itself - perhaps wishful thinking on my part...

Any thoughts on this?
