Seagate Archive HHD work in a 4 tuner ROAMIO ? aka Shingled Magnetic Recording (SMR)

Does anyone have any experience with a Seagate Archive HHD aka Shingled Magnetic Recording (SMR)

For a 4 tuner ROAMIO ?

My understanding is that they read fast but write slowly. I'm not sure the speed the Roamio 4 tuner requires to record 4 shows at once.

Has anyone here had any experience with a " archive" drive? This is the first one of these drives I have ever owned. It's 8TB and was planning on a major upgrade in storage space for the Tivo.
