Watching recorded shows away from home

Recently purchased a Roamio OTA and have a question. I would like to take the Roamio on the road in our motorhome to watch shows I recorded on the unit while I was home. Do I need to have the guide to view the recorded shows that are on the Romeo without being connected to the Internet. I don't plan to connect to our motorhome antenna, just watch already recorded shows.
