iPad Control of TiVo from remote network?

Is it possible to schedule programming from my iPad 2 on my Roamio TiVo from a remote network?

I've downloaded the TiVo app but can't schedule programming from remote networks while out of town.

Is there a TiVo desktop Program for iPads like I used on my PC when on the road with my series 2 TiVo?
