This is some sort of bug that I discovered with PyTivo and Roamio and I was curious if anyone else has experience it and if they know if its a bug in PyTivo or a Roamio issue:
If you start transfering a video using PyTivo and then that file gets interuppted (as in you cancel the transfer or maybe the server gets shut down before transferring is complete), you can never transfer that video again. If you then try and transfer the video again, you get the following error:
Your request could not be processed. Please try again. (Message #86)
I have rebooted the Roamio and I have rebooted the server hosting PyTivo and no change. The work around was to delete the associated metadate file for that video file and then it will transfer. I also renamed the file, but that does not appear to have fixed it. It looks like the metadata file needs to be deleted.
Anyone else experience this?
