Hi all. I recently purchased a Roamio to use with an OTA antenna. After setting it up, I was able to get many additional channels that I couldn't get just going through my TV. But the channels I get when the antenna (through a $60 preamplifier from Radio Shack) is going through the Roamio is much worse. I was getting perfect reception before I got the Roamio, and now it's in and out.
I called Tivo tech support, and they only said that it's a problem with the amplifier. Don't use a cheap one. Heck, mine cost $60. I can't find one any more expensive. They had no recommendation on what to use, just said to get a good one.
So, my question to you guys ---- What preamplifier do you guys use with an outdoor antenna and the Roamio to boost this signal?
