My cable company said I need some sort of little box with the card (it is about the same size as my router). Does anyone else need this? The instructions with the TiVo say nothing about a box like that. (Sorry about the non-technical jargon, I'm really a bit clueless about this kind of stuff. Had my old tube tv for 20 years.
Got the tv out and up finally, now ready to hook the new TiVo Roamio Pro up. Already have to go to store to get HDMI cord (should have realized!).
I'm not sure if I need an Ethernet cord too? My router is on the second floor of the house, tv is on the bottom, so they are nowhere close to each other.
