Are software updates preserved during a C&DE?

I'm considering moving from Premiere to Roamio and was wondering if the software updates (like the one that's currently installing on my XL) will be preserved for a future owner if I do a C&DE or does it revert to the original version, requiring everything to be 're-updated'?
