Hi everyone, I'm asking this question for my brother in law which just got the Roamio Plus and 2 Minis. Currently the Roamio is downstairs and setup over Wireless N.
To get the Mini to work it needs to be connected via Moca since his house is not wired for Ethernet all over like mine. I have everything setup over cat6 wired.
In his case we have 2 options:
1. Use a Moca adapter so the Roamio and Mini are happy
2. Use a Wireless AC Bridge to fool the Roamio into thinking it has wired connection to internet to allow the internal moca adapter to create a network for the mini.
I have not benchmarked anything but it would appear going the latter option would saturate the wifi network 2.4 or 5.0Gh/z as opposed to a slower moca connection.
Which is the best option?
Thanks
