Hi guys. I bought the basic Roamio last July as well as the TiVo recommend external HD and the then current Mini (the one with the larger remote).
The first six months everything seemed to work well. Then I started seeing very minor lag in input response but nothing major. Just once in a while.
Then in April I was in the process of moving and as a result I basically stopped using my TiVo for about three months up until last week. Everything hooked up, seemed to work well but then sudden major lag started popping up almost all the time. The kind of lag where I get zero response for 10+ second at a time no matter what or how many times I hit the buttons. Then it'll be okay for a bit and then the super lag again.
The thing is though, my Mini seems to work just fine. No lag issues what so ever so I'm thinking it's not my home network. All my other devices connecting via wi-fi or cable seem to be working well.
Any ideas on this? I've entered my for priority patch next round so I'm hoping maybe its the Roamio software or something on TiVo's server end. I actually went ahead and ordered the new Mini for another room but I'm somewhat concerned that maybe it shares similar software to the Roamio and might experience the same issues?
