After a little over a year of having cut the cord and using our Tivo's OTA, we had Charter out late this afternoon to re-install the cable cards and tuning adapters to get us basic cable again. (I got sick of fighting the antenna to get consistent channels in.)
Got a Tivo OTA with the cable card slot and a Premier 4 XL. Obviously the OTA never had a card in it before, but after reading around here I knew it should work.
Tech called in, and Charter swears that everything is provisioned. I've been concentrating mostly on the Premier, but the same issue is happening on both.
Neither one will get channels.
When I go into the Conditional Access menu, I'm missing Auth and CCI. (As in they don't even appear on the screen let alone have values for them.)
Tivo support says that the cards aren't provisioned, but Charter insists that they are.
Are they maybe bad cards?
