Hello, I have been trying to get a Tivo Stream working with my existing Tivo Roamio (Basic). I am trying to use the iOS app. Both Stream & Roamio are on my wired network (they are both on the same switch near my TV that I have hardwired back to my main router (An ASUS RT-AC3200) - one gets 192.168.1.241 for an IP and the other 192.168.1.54)
When I enter the iOS app is says "Do you want to setup your stream?" to which I say yes, it goes to the three step process for doing this, Step 1 says "Streaming device needs a software update", it gets through that, Step 2 is connecting to your account, no problem, Step 3 says "Linking streaming device"
Step 3 times out after about 20-30 seconds with the following error :
"Network Problem: Streaming device to DVR, The streaming device cannot contact the DVR. Make sure the that DVR and streaming device are on the same wired Ethernet or MoCA network, then try again." If I click Try again it goes back to Step 1 but just loops forever with no update.
If I go into the streaming "System Info" part of my iOS app I can see the Stream (can see SW version, fan speed, IP, etc.)
Seems like I just can't get the Roamio and Stream to talk to each other.
Something I need to do to the Roamio? Something in my router? Open a port or something? Any help is much appreciated!
