Commercial skip too much

I don't know if they have the folks from Rovi generating the skip hints now or what, but for the premiere episode of Lucifer I recorded last night and watched this evening, hitting skip during the commercials just at the start of the show skipped over about 5 minutes of the show itself.

I guess I should just stick with fast forward and play :-).
