I'm really enjoying this season of the Last Ship, though I would admit I wasn't too crazy about it when a bunch of the crew were prisoners on that island. But the last few episodes involving the take down of the US govt in favor of the regional heads has been very interesting. Next week's episode is the season finale!
One thing bothered me. I think it was last week's episode where the Nathan James was supposedly destroyed by missiles sent by the bad guys. Then this week we find out that it wasn't the NJ but one of the Chinese destroyers that the NJ somehow remotely controlled and used as a decoy in case the bad guys were going to attack the NJ, which of course they did. But they very much glossed over how the NJ got the Chinese destroyer there in the first place. Did they have s skeleton crew manning it and following the NJ and set it on some kind of autopilot and then leave the ship. Were they towing it? Did they have a Star Trek like tractor beam? I realize they couldn't say too much early on as it would eliminate the surprise but they could have explained it more after the fact.
