multiple copies of "new" episodes in onepass

I have recently been seeing numerous copies of the same episode on the same channel marked as "new" despite having already premiered days before. Is the TIVO guide data going to crap now?

An example would be Deadliest Catch:Dungeness Cove. Tonight it is taping the Welcome to Newport Episode for the third time despite have Onepass limited to single chanel "new episodes only".
