Say, has this ever happened to you?

I was Netflixing through the Tivo last week when I tried to disconnect and watch something from My Shows. Unfortunately, the Tivo jammed, requiring a restart. Where upon, I had a pop up announcing an "Update" to my machine was needed. Okay, fine.

When it finished, I had the cable listings for some apartment complex in Idaho, or somewhere, and a lot of my recordings were moved or gone. Didn't panic but I did call Cableone to ask if there was a solar flare or something I wasn't aware of. They had me rerun Guided Setup, and there were strange some choices for cable providers listed that I'd never seen before. Even some from DirecTV.

After the GS and a forced connection, several channels were added or moved, (some just removed). Also, about 85 of the recordings in My Shows had been moved to the My Suggestions folder. Many were just deleted, including a few KUIDs. Fortunately, they were still in the Recently Deleted bin and I was able to recover them. Many other little things cropped up, but those were the big ones.

After discussions on the 10th with Tivo and Cableone, (who I lease my box from), apparently the new Roviware and the proprietary software in my box weren't playing well together. Both companies are "aware" and attempting a fix.

So, in addition to all of the TBA listings showing up in the guide, I still have channels listed that I don't have. At least, most local network affiliate listings are correct and the OPs seem to be functioning, so far.

I spoke with Cableone again today. They don't even want me to do another Guided Setup until the other software problems are addressed.

Gonna be a long time, I fear.
