Is anyone else noticing these coincidences here?
- Last day of series 1 TiVo data is Sep 15
- new TiVo Bolt+ being released on Sep 15
- CEDIA Trade show in session
- new software a couple weeks ago to make tivos "compatible" with new Rovi (now TiVo) "guide data"
- New Rovi guide data shortly thereafter, with issues until magically today it seems to be clearing up
- much talk about a new TiVo UX
Sounds to me like tomorrow is the day they are going to deploy the new UX, what I think will be "FanTiVo".
Saying that the new software was required for just the Rovi data, and it mysteriously makes the series 1 not able to handle it? I'm thinking if it was just Rovi guide data the S1s would be fine, so this points to something a lot more complex........a new TiVo UX on Sep 15, in conjunction with the Bolt+ release and big announcements about it at CEDIA.
I guess we will see tomorrow! :)
