I sat down today and wanted to put in season passes for some of the new shows premiering. And I can't, because most of them start on the 23rd. When I do a search, it can't find the show.
In the past I have created wish lists to do this, but I don't want to do that for the show MacGyver, since the wish list would probably grab all the reruns of the old show.
You'd think in 2016, I could enter the name of a show, even if it's not in the Guide, and create a OnePass, and when it does show up in the Guide, it can just suck in the shows schedule and record it.
Heck, online databases like thetvdb.org could be used to scrape this data.
I guess now that Rovi owns TiVo, we're stuck with using Rovi guide data for everything, which is causing me some issues also.
