Wipe and redo?

OK, here's my issue. I have a premier. Since the guide data was updated, it seems to have a serious issue. Several wishlists though never set to auto record and long deleted are recording, a lot. I can see the names of the wishlists on the folders they create, but they are no longer in 'wishlists' or 'OnePass Manager'. I have tried to recreate them exactly and stop auto record and delete them, but that doesn't work. I've restarted several times and re-run guided setup, no luck. I'm thinking I may need to completely wipe the device to fix the problem unless someone has a better idea. This unit has been in use for quite a while and there are many 1p's. It's been many years since I last did a complete tivo reset. Is there a less painful way to re-set up the unit without manually entering every 1p and wishlist? I'm sure more than a few of the 1p's won't have any current guide data requiring either waiting and possibly missing shows or creating a wishlist instead. Any help is greatly appreciated.
