Since Rovi update Roamio Plus reboots when connected to the internet

I have had an issue with my Roamio plus rebooting ever since the Rovi upgrade. This only happens while it is connected to the Internet. While it is connected it reboots every 5 mins. or so. This happens whether it is connected with Ethernet, Moca or wireless. As soon as I disconnect it I am able to watch recorded shows as well as live tv. I know the standard answer to this is it's a harddrive issue or power supply issue. I don't buy that answer as it works fine as long as it's not connected. If it was a hardware issue wouldn't it be happening regardless ? It's hard to believe no one else is having this problem. I saw a couple of post's a couple of weeks ago but nothing since and with no resolution. Called TiVo support and they had me do the standard unplugging cables and resetting router and such with no success. They are trying to say it's a hardware issue. I think this is a software issue but without other people complaining about this I doubt the issue will be fixed. This box is only a year old. Any ideas ?
