Recently acquired a Tivo stream so I can watch TV away from home, on my frequent travels. Initially wasn't able to complete the setup; issue was finally resolved after Suddenlink filed a bug report with Tivo. It now completes the setup process, but throws this error when I test streaming by turningoff my WiFi and opening the TiVo app to watch live TV on my phone:
"Out-of-home streaming is not permitted from this DVR. contact your service provider for further information. Error Code: E=8 V=-1"
Suddenlink has escalated the issue to "Triad" (?) Am I the only Suddenlink customer to try to use out of home streaming? It seems like such a great service, I can hardly wait to use it. I just can't believe it's been so difficult to try to get it working.
