Just a quick thanks to this awesome forum and community and wanted to payback by sharing a disk image that I just created.
History:
I have a series 3 HD XL (TCD658000) which I hacked many years ago and had the rev 11.0j operating system on it. Recently the program guide would not update even with repeated attempts of connecting to the TiVo service. Interesting note was that it would continually indicate "pending reset" which I would reset the TiVo, connect to TiVo service only to have this "pending reset" message appear again then I would repeat this cycle with no change with the issue of no program guide information being downloaded and updated. I then remembered that as part of the hacking I did, the bootpage parameters were configured with "upgradesoftware=false". I attempted to update my bootpage parameters but hosed the disk somehow so it would get stuck in a reboot loop with only the powering up screen being displayed. I poked around here on this forum and found a image posted by user unitron and this got my TiVo back up and running:up:. I had the TiVo take the 11.0n-H1 update and then the program guide started working again. I created a WinMFS backup of the 11.0n-H1 disk to share with anyone else that is needing to re-image their hard disk.
Being a new user, I cannot post links yet so if anyone needs a hard disk image for their series 3 HD XL then please PM me and I will give you a dropbox link.
