How to have S2 use 4 digits for Satellite channel changing?

Does anyone know how to force 4 digits when changing channels using a satellite input?

I am trying to figure out how to force my Series2 TiVo to always use 4 digits over IR when using a Satellite receiver. I do see a "Channel Digits" setting if I go to the "Channel Changing" "Advanced Setup", but that setting is only there when am using a Cable box for input (for some reason, that setting is not there when using a satellite input).
