Recorded Sunday OTA news broadcast won't play

Just had the odd occurrence that a recording from a few hours ago won't play. ABC OTA 1-hour news broadcast, on a Roamio OTA. Show appears on the My Shows listing and I can select it to get to the show's info. screen, which shows the correct length and other recording info., but when I then select play, the screen flicks once as if going to play and then simply returns to the info. screen; same result if I try to play the show from the My Shows listing.
