Resetting Unit Without TiVO Remote

I just got a Humax DVT800 that did not come with a remote control. I procured a universal remote which works just fine controlling the unit in all functions except the Thumbs Up and Thumbs Down.

So, most of you will immediately see my problem that I need to run through Guided Setup however I cannot get to Guided Setup without pressing the Thumbs Down button three times...

So... my question is... is there any way to get to Guided Setup without the TiVO Remote? Perhaps a method to...
