Returned Tivo bolt to amazon - do I still have to call to cancel?

Last year I bought a tivo bolt from amazon. I decided not to keep it and I returned it for a refund. I noticed on my tivo acct that the free first year will be up in a few days. They have my credit card on file (I had to give it to them to activate the bolt) Will they automatically charge that card for another year of service once the free first year ends? Do I need to call tivo and "cancel" even though I haven't had the actual box in almost a year?
