Transferring recordings - Is Optimum over using the 'block transfer' flag?

I'm in the midst of a shuffle - installing a new Bolt, shutting down an S3HD, and moving my PremiereXL4 to where the S3HD was. I'm using http://ift.tt/2oqHqRU, and I managed to move the season passes of the XL4 to the Bolt without too much difficulty.

I'm having problems with transferring recordings. Anything I've recorded from Cartoon Network, AMC, BBC America, CNN, Disney XD, and many others are NOT transferrable. Shows on ABC, CBS, NBC, TCM, MeTV and others...
